Our Little Rock Star

Connor loves music. He got a new guitar from the man from the North Pole. He likes to stand on his "stage" and jam out.

He also likes crazy hair.

Tonight Connor got to go on an outing with just mommy. We met a friend from school at an huge indoor playground. (get ready pop pop) Then we went to Chick fil to pick up some dinner. KK and daddy had a mini date as well, KK had gymnastics and then they headed to Cicis for dinner. Fun was had by all 4 of us and bed time was very easy tonight, not a peep out of either of them!

You Won't Believe Your Eyes

For almost 4 years now KK has been very afraid of puppies and kitty cats. Let's just say the Zoo is not always top on her list for fun things to do. This past weekend Trev and the kids went to Pa and Maw Maw's where they recently got a new puppy. Even as recent as Christmas, we were still having to carry KK around the entire house because she was scared. Connor had warmed up to the puppy and loved to play catch but we couldn't quite get KK to relax. WELL... check out these photos below.

It's So Hard to Say Good-Bye

She boo hoo'd all the way home and then while telling me about the weekend and her new found love, she started crying all over again that she had to leave the dog. Needless to say we are thrilled that both kids now are not afraid of the pets. Not yet ready to get our own... but we can now visit more often hopefully. Not to mention all of our friends who have been so patient while their four legged family members have been locked up in a room, when the Fuxa's come over.

Season Over

It took this whole week to write about it but when we are sitting home on our couch this Sunday it will become more real... The COWBOYS magical season is over. That was a tough one last week. It is almost easier to be 5-11 THREE years in a row and know that the last game is the last game. Last week, with little time left on the clock we still had a chance... interception and it was all over. It was a good year for me personally at the stadium. I had a lot of fun. I love what I do out there and Trevor and the kids did good at home these past 5 months of HOME games. No Superbowl in Arizona for the Cowboys this year but we will be cheering on the NFC team on Feb 3 no matter who it is. Now we can refocus on the new stadium and all of the work that will go into that these next couple of months. KK and Connor will not know what to do when I am home on a Sunday and there is Football on... they are secretly happy that the Cowboys came up just short.

Backwards in Texas

Only in Texas do you do Christmas first and raking leaves second. Last weekend the leaves finally completely fell off of the one tree we have on our property. The kids love to jump in them and throw them all around. Well, that was last week and this is this week and we are now at 28 degrees and winter is here. Crazy we know!!!!!

Connor's Farfignugen

After all of the hours spent planning, shopping and wrapping here is what Connor received the biggest kick out of. He played with this until he blew out a whole in it.
