This One is for you Grams

Hope you enjoy the pics from the kids fall festival from last Thursday. This week went by pretty fast, with me sick Tuesday afternoon and then CB not breathing quite right on Weds. We took him to the dr. and they did a breathing treatment in the office, that is how you know they are having a hard time breathing. He is on the treatments 4 times a day, they seem to be helping.

Grams glad you are all better and at home, here are your little Great-Grandbabies getting bigger. Have a great weekend everyone. We are looking to lounge around!!!! Saturday night we are going to a Light the Night for the Luekemia and Lymphoma Society fundraiser. The kids will get to carry a balloon with a light in it on the walk after it is dark. They are enjoying these organized walks and runs... and they are all for great causes.

Visit from Grammy and Pop Pop

We were really busy when mom and dad came into town. We barely let their plane land before we were off and running. Straight from one airport to another. The Alliance Airshow was taking place and since I am a military brat, Trev thought that we would all enjoy it and boy was he right. I had not been to an airshow since 1989, in Ramstein, Germany. That airshow had a terrible ending with a crash, so needless to say I have been a little hesitant to go back. The kids had a blast going in the different planes, they had bouncy houses and we ate some good food. Sunday we were off to the State Fair. The kids and I had been with Nini, but Trev had not gone before with us. The kids loved the rides, Connor was 36" so he could go on a lot of the rides without an adult. The fair is only for those ready to drop some serious cash!!! If he was not big enough we could go on with him but it cost us coupons as well. Most rides were $3 or more... good thing Grammy and Pop Pop were there to issue out extra coupons or it would have been a fast visit. Thanks G&P. On Monday, it was Columbus Day but KK still had school which was cool b.c mom and dad got to go to drop her off. We picked her up at lunch so we could head over to Aunt Mimi's house and visit with her and Aunt Mary for the day. We went to the mall in search of some earrings for Ms. KK and a Cowboy hat for Connorboy. Both purchases were made and lunch was eaten. Then it was back to the airport to send Grammy and Pop Pop off but not before the "traditional Walmart stop" for a toy from the grandparents. In between all of these outings some quality play time was had by all at home with our stuff. This was one of the saddest goodbyes yet. KK lost it before Grammy could even get out of the car and Connorboy started crying this time when we waved our final goodbye to them before they went into the airport. McDonalds did not even soothe KK's tears. It worked for Connorboy though. We hope to see them again very soon. We love when they come and visit.

Pop pop had Connor stand like a statue!

We entered into the Susan B Komen. The Cowboys pay our entry fee and Amy and Rissa up in Idaho just ran a race so KK was really excited to do this. We did the 1k, which for their first time was plenty. They had no idea there would be that many people there.
