We hope you are all doing great!! We are getting ready to celebrate the Birth of our King. We have rushed around and now we are ready to finally soak it all in and enjoy family and make some new memories. I put $$ away in August for this season, I wish I had bought all of the gifts in August!! Trev was a HUGE help, and after a couple of lunch runs we are ready for the commercial part.
We will be attending church tonight and hopefully that will put us in the right mood.
My parents and Eliz will be here on Christmas Eve in the afternoon, we will open presents from them and from us that night. Then on Christmas morning we are off to Idaho to visit ALL of Trev's family. His parents have already arrived there. From what we hear, we are going to get a WHITE Christmas. They are not getting out of the teens while we are there. We have asked Santa to come on the 25th in Idaho so on the 26th we will be having Christmas morning!! 12 of us! Can't wait. Should be fun. We will be up there until the 31st. Amy and I will celebrate our birthdays together, hers on the 28th and mine on the 30th!! Pa and Maw Maw leave on the 27th. We wanted to overlap so that we could get some good quality time with the Brumlows. They moved 3 years ago and when they come home they are always so busy and we don't get to see them very much so I am so excited that we will get LOTS of time with them.
When we get home Eliz will be staying with us until her apt, 4 mins away, is ready in mid Jan!! We are all excited that she will be here!!!
KK finished her 80th day at school this past week. She loves it. She is beginning to read and WOW... once that starts to click it really clicks. Connor can even read... hee hee, he has memorized some of the books that KK has read over and over and he looks like he is reading them.
Both of them were in gymnastics this past year they have done so good, now it seems that they are kind of bored so we will be taking a break and in March it looks like we will start soccer. Don't know if Connor will play yet but KK is ready. Connor would love it and it would get his wiggles out.
His trying 3's are creaping up here recently. Hopefully it will be a mild case.
2009 should be fairly interesting as my job will be relocating and Trev's job will be probably moving as a result, which in turn will probably have us moving to get closer. Carrie is graduating in May, my cousin is getting married in June and the new stadium opens in July!!
Our hope is for all of you to have a wonderful holiday and enjoy your family at this very special time of year!

Lots of Memories
For the last 10 seasons, this is where I have called home on Sundays in the fall. This past Saturday was the final game. I don't think it has really set in yet. Besides the fact that I was sick and could not enjoy the whole experience.
When I got to the stadium in 1999, I was single, 25 years old, living in an apt and still trying to figure life out. Now in 2008, I am married, to a man I met at the stadium, have 2 children, live in a house, have wonderful friends, almost 35 years old and I have a better understanding of my direction in life.
THANK YOU to the Fab 5 at work. We have had so much fun together. Everyone says we should write a book, but... When a lot of people go to work, it is that, work... for most of my tenure when I go to work, I am hanging out with my friends and getting some work done at the same time. I have taken small breaks, like only working 10 hours after KK was born and then taking a season off when KK was 2 and Connor was 1. But then in Feb I ran back and asked if I could come back!!!! I have had many different titles, Suite Service Coordinator, Executive Assistant to VP, Food and Beverage Manager, Stadium Club Coordinator, Special Projects Coordinator and now Suite Operations Manager. That is one of the things I love about my job, I have been a part of most of the different areas in the department, to me that keeps it all new and exciting.
So as we go to the new stadium and create new memories, I will not forget the building and the memories from TEXAS STADIUM! Thanks!!
