On the eve of Thanksgiving, wanted to take a moment to say how thankful we are for the many blessings from above.
One quick note before I go too far into this. KK received her first answer to prayer. First of all KK does not pray out loud. She has never been comfortable doing it, we keep asking just in case she changes her mind. Connor on the other hand will pray for everything he sees and will try and beat us to pray. Monday morning, KK came up to Trev and said that she prayed last night for her to be the Big Helper at school. This means she gets to use the pointer at circle time and be the line leader and anything that Ms. C needs help passing out the Big Helper gets to do it. Trev told her that maybe she would be today but not to get upset if she didn't get to be today. Well, low and behold, she was randomly, or God encouraged, picked to be the Big Helper. She came home and was so excited to tell us that God had answered her prayer. How cool is that at 5 to have her first prayer recognized.
We are thankful this season for our health and for our jobs and our homes and cars and for our babysitters that watch our little ones. We are thankful for our fuxa four and the rest of our extended family.
No matter where you are tomorrow, we will be separated for the first time, take a moment and Thank God for all of your special blessings from above. And learn from KK, ask even the smallest prayers and you never know when it will get answered:)
